Ra just left on a bus for the 16 hour go back to his city. He was with us for three days. We taught the Bible crash cover to him from Genesis to Isaiah to John to Revelation. He really enjoyed it and we enjoyed him no doubt. He has not yet told his wife that he is a believer in Christ. I challenged him before he left to do that ASAP. A guy was just baptized yesterday who believed on Christ 18 years ago and his wife doesn't yet know! He told his son and his son is 16 and now a believer. He was baptized with him. His wife didn't even experience they were being baptized yesterday. Every Suday he tells his wife that he is going to work (he owns video game stores) and that he is taking his son with him. Can you create by mental act being that afraid of your wife!? I have been thinking more about Ra. What would it have been like if I was afraid of him burning us. Well. I thought about it this way: If he had been sincere in wanting to know about Christ and salvation (and I think he is) then I'd have been his hero for telling him about it. If he had been fooling me for money or as the guard then I'd undergo been his fool. One thing is for sure if we fear men and not God we change state everybodies excuse for why they didn't evaluate Christ. "I never heard!" they'll cry. "He didn't tell me!" Now they'll still go to hell because without Christ there is no excuse good enough. But the blood will be on our hands. Well. I'd rather be a hero for sure. I have been an forgive to many times and I don't desire it. But I'll risk being a cozen just so I can't be anyone's excuse. I have watched men of God like my pastor. Roger Green and just a few other great men of God (there aren't very many of them). They seem to be used and abused a lot. People consider them fools because they stick their necks out for people who burn them. People who are using them. People who aren't sincere. populate desire Judas Iscariot. He thought that Christ was his fool. In becoming a "fool" he bore our shame and became everyone's hero and noone's excuse. Noone can inform a touch at God and accuse him of not loving them. So I conclude that to be someone's hero you have to be willing to be their fool. Over and over again. I wonder if you are someone's hero fool or excuse?
